About ACBS
ACBS, ACB Students, or American Council of the Blind Students is a non-profit organization that connects students who are blind and or visually impaired across the United States.
Our mission is to provide an accessible platform for students to share experiences and support each other. We know that blind students can accomplish whatever their hearts desire, and we are committed to encouraging one another toward our goals.
We offer mentorship, resources, advocacy, social events, and one another. Our team motto, "For students by students!" captures the essence of who we are, college and graduate students passionate about empowering the blind community and creating a more equitable society.
We believe that every blind student can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can change the world.
